After 39 years in the aerospace industry, he retired in 2019, selling both companies to The Whitcraft Group, and is now the owner of Golden Gears Car Club. Evolution and Condor provide high quality machining services and the production of rigid tube assemblies in a wide array of exotic materials servicing the aerospace and power generation industries. The companies utilize the latest technologies to bring a job from concept to completion with 3-D Prototyping, including additive manufacturing using direct metal laser sintering, 3-D plastic modeling, precision CNC milling, turning, water jet, EDM and tube bending.

Mr. Agreda began his career in 1980 as a tool room apprentice working alongside his father at a machine shop in East Hartford, CT. Over the next several years, he became a department supervisor for the CNC milling department and moved to a new company as Operations Manager. In 1987, he rejoined forces with his family at C&P Machine Co. which had been established in 1980 as a 2,500 square foot facility in South Windsor, CT. In 1997, the company built a 9,000 square foot facility, expanding to 14,500 square feet in 2001. In 2008, Mr. Agreda acquired Empire Manufacturing of Bridgeport, CT, and in 2010, Aero Tube Technologies was formed to purchase the assets of Tube Bends, Inc. in Newington, CT. In 2011, he consolidated the three companies into a 98,000 square foot facility and rebranded as Evolution Aero – Where Innovation Takes Shape.

Mr. Agreda serves on the Foundation Board of Goodwin University, and from 2014 – 2017, served on the Foundation Board for Manchester Community College. In 2012, he initiated a plan to partner with local educational institutions to develop a workforce to meet the demand of the industry. Mr. Agreda believes that introducing people to manufacturing and engineering trades, educating them on the industry, and allowing them to witness the opportunities available first hand can influence them to enter these fields. Companies that invest in and embrace existing and developing technologies provide boundless opportunities for students or individuals seeking a career change.
