Russ Peppet is a senior executive with a long and successful career in management consulting and private equity investing. Since 2001, he has been the General Partner of Park Avenue Equity Partners, responsible for the investment of funds in midsized growth companies and the development of the management of these companies.

In 1990, Mr. Peppet co-founded and was Vice Chairman and Principal of Quirk Carson Peppet Inc. which specialized in consulting, investment banking, and private equity investing for the environmental industry, raising two funds and acquiring, managing, and divesting midsized firms. In 1998, the firm merged into Churchill Capital, Inc. and raised a similar fund. Previously, he was with Towers Perrin as Vice President, International Development, responsible for the strategy and development of all practices outside of the U.S. and Canada.

Mr. Peppet began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick (1960 – 1988), culminating as Vice Chairman, Management Consulting, the senior consulting position in the U.S., responsible for the vision, strategy, and operations of the consulting practice, and was also a Member of the Operating Committee and the Board of Directors of the firm. Prior to this position, he was the Partner in Charge, Management Consulting, NYC, the largest consulting practice in the firm. Mr. Peppet had been Partner in Charge, Management Consulting, Continental Europe, supervising development of the consulting practice for all of Continental Europe and French-speaking Africa, and managing major cost accounting engagements for the firm.

In addition, Mr. Peppet is affiliated with the Fairfield County Microenterprise Investors Council (FCMIC) which works on microenterprise loan programs associated with World Vision in Ecuador, Chile, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, and Senegal. Previously he served on the Board of Governors of Park Avenue Bank, Park Avenue Motor Cars LLC, Horizon Waste Services, Inc., Systech Retail Systems Ltd., Liberty Tire Recycling LLC, Joerns Health Care Inc., Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (NYSE), and Possible Dreams Ltd.
